Back in April, everyone was freaking out about Prom. My friend Sloan and I decided not to go due to our lack of date issue, so we joked around a lot about it. My birthday is at the end of April so for my birthday Sloan "asked" me to prom. However, it was not prom as in the dance, it was prom as in the Disney movie. To make a long long story short, we haven't gotten around to having our prom until now. The movie came out on DVD, so Sloan made it very official. She picked me up and came to the door and wouldn't let me go out to her car. When she came in she presented a "corsage," and my dad gave her the date talk (luckily he was not cleaning his gun). She also gave me a bag of Hershey Kisses since it that is a big part of the stereotypical prom and we couldn't do it for real. She took me out to dinner at a sports bar, so we could enjoy some opening weekend college football. HOOK 'EM HORNS by the way. After dinner, we headed back to her house to watch the movie and sleep over. The movie had by far some of the worst acting I've ever seen and it was super cheesy, but it was pretty spot on about how people act about prom.

She asked me by putting this on the windshield of my car.
The corsage.
Sloan is such a good date.
