The Viking Helmet has been stolen!!!
Our school's student section leader wears a plastic viking hat that has been passed down from student section leader to student section leader. It is a symbol of our award winning student section. Unfortunately, there is a school who is still bitter about losing the student section and Tri-9 championships. I'll keep them nameless, but the school rhymes with harry and their mascot rhymes with wimps. Well, one of their students decided to steal the helmet during a volleyball game then get away on foot. And I know y'all are thinking 'it's just a helmet, what does it matter.' We are a very superstitious school and this was a big deal. The cops got involved and eventually the hat was returned. This is a picture of the Facebook post that started all of the drama. Our student section leader Jeff said: "Everybody! THIS SI AN ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY. the helmet has been stolen by John Blackwell of Cary High School. (sorry guess they can't remain nameless) He ran out of the gym with and went deep into the woods onto the other side of McCrimmon... there was no finding him at that point, it was so dark. Again, the helmet has been stolen. our school police officer is informed." This seems a little dramatic, but the 80 plus comments this received shows the school spirit that is embodied in every student at Panther Creek.
