I've been dreading writing this blog because it is a night that I would rather forget. Our homecoming game was against our biggest and most annoying rivals, the Cary wImps. We talked smack back and forth all week; they did some of their classic vandalism including but not limited to, spray painting male genitalia on our field, spray painting on the track, painting our Catamount statue (again), and scratching "the 'f' word Cary" into the concrete in our courtyard. By the time Friday rolled around we were so ready to beat their butts. Their theme was a viking out to make fun of our student section leader. Our theme was a simple but classic BLACK OUT!
The game started and ended and we didn't pull off the win that we wanted. They took us down 19-7, but we just remembered that you win some and you lose some. It was still a fun night though.
