Creek Week: PC Pride Day (10.14.11)

It's bittersweet to think that this was the last day of my final homecoming week! As usual the Friday of homecoming week is school spirit day. Most people just wear t-shirts from school, and some people go all out wearing head to toe blue, black, or white. I decided that this year I would bring a Texas homecoming tradition to North Carolina. I customized my overalls to make them super school spirited. I cut out shapes and letters from scrap fabrics that I had lying around from when I made bean bags for my corn hole boards. The front of the overalls say "PCHS" on one leg and they have a paw and "'12" on the other. The back says "Senior." All of the teachers and administrators loved them, but my peers were not too thrilled. I think most of them thought they were tacky and over done.

I am still really upset that I never got the chance to have a homecoming mum!

Overalls are not flattering at all!
