Hurricane Sandy!!

I guess the downfall of living at the beach would be that any sort of tropical system in the Atlantic will affect us. Sandy has been my first storm to impact Wilmington since I have been here. My mom came to visit me today, which was perfect because campus is dead (no Halloweekend here). We went to lunch and went shopping, and had tons of fun. I miss her a lot, so it is awesome when she comes to visit. I dressed specifically for rain today, and I was thrilled to get to wear my duck boots!!

After my mom left, I got into some sweat pants and decided to just chill for the rest of the night. I sat down and monogrammed a few things. My mom got me a fleece vest today, and I was really excited to monogram it when I got back. I also did a pair of running shorts; I am slowly but surely on my way to having everything I own being monogrammed.

Bipolar Weather Outfits

Monday: It was quite chilly today. I got to wear my new boots which I love!

Tuesday: It was still brisk today, and I had two tests. I opted for a super comfy outfit.

Wednesday: It was much warmer today, and I wasn't very productive. I didn't leave my building for anything other than dinner, so I wasn't trying to hard to look awesome today.

Thursday: It was warm today, and I decided to dress up a bit since most of my classes were outside of my dorm.

Polka Dot Outfits!

I wore this dress to the mall, and we ended up stopping at this black light, glow in the dark mini golf place. The white dots looked awesome under the backlights. I'll put a picture of that below!

This s not the best quality picture, but oh well. I absolutely love these shorts and wish I had more places to wear them! I also love the back of the shirt because there are bows on the top part and its adorable!

I'm not a huge fan of wearing running shorts and t-shirts to class everyday because then my cute clothes never get worn. I also just feel more confident when I'm dressed up.

T-shirts are super comfy, but aren't very flattering or cute. I tucked mine into white shorts and belted the shorts. I think it helps make a t-shirt look more put together. (BTW this was before Labor Day)

First Day of Classes Outfit

My first day of college classes were on Wednesday, and so far so good. I've already had a good bit of work to do, and I can already tell ti will be way more challenging than high school. I have a few school related posts plan. Sorry I've been lacking on posts moving in and getting ready for school has been stressing me out lately. Here's what I wore to my first two classes of college.
