New Blog Name
My mom requested that I take my full name off my blog, so I've gone from my name to Prep at the Beach. I also changed the URL, so I am not prepatthebeach.blogspot.com. This has created a few issues with linkups and stuff, but I think I will be able to work around it. I hope this doesn't cause too much confusion!

Just by the way - you can change your blog name without deleting older posts - I have done it three times before now!!
ReplyDeleteI would say (in terms of traffic to your blog) it's probably best if your title is as close to your blog address as possible. I don't know if you are overly worried about that, but just thought I'd put that out there!
Just go to your dashboard and settings. Type in the name you want. It will check if it's available and bingo - all done!!
It definitely shouldn't delete your blog posts or anything. Is there a pop up window coming up telling you that it will?

It is not deleting the posts, but it is creating a bunch of dead links within the blog. Is there a way to fix that, or will I just have to live with it?
DeleteYou are welcome - as for dead links you might have to go through and manually update those (if they are within the posts).
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't go too crazy with it though - you can't be expected to edit every single dead link!
